IIM Lucknow Former Director Prof Archana Shukla Joins HSB as Director

Jaipur: The Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business (HSB), part of JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, has announced the appointment of Prof Archana Shukla as its new Director, effective August 1, 2025. She succeeds Professor Gregory Dunn in the role.

An alumna of IIT Kanpur and holder of a PhD in Psychology, Prof Archana Shukla brings over three decades of academic, research, and leadership experience, with expertise in organisational behaviour and knowledge management.

In her new position, she will lead HSB’s UGC-accredited two-year residential MBA programme, which offers specialisations in digital product management, artificial intelligence and business analytics, and entrepreneurship and organisational foresight.

“Her appointment as the Director of our premier business school will advance HSB’s mission of blending academic rigour with real-world relevance,” said B H Singhania, Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University. “Her leadership experience at IIM Lucknow and expertise in organisational behaviour will be instrumental in preparing global business leaders ready to shape the enterprises of tomorrow.”

Prof Archana Shukla: Expertise in Organisational Behaviour and Knowledge Management

Prof Shukla served as Director of IIM Lucknow for six years and as Dean of its Noida Campus for more than three years. She was the inaugural chairperson of the Dr Ishwar Dayal Chair for Futuristic Issues in the Behavioural Sciences from 2015 to 2017.

Her work includes designing and delivering leadership, strategic thinking, and team-building programmes for organisations such as KPMG, Mahindra & Mahindra, Samsung, Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson & Johnson, and the GMR Group.

Founded in 2024 in memory of industrialist and philanthropist Hari Shankar Singhania, HSB is a technology-driven business school supported by the $4 billion JK Organisation. The school aims to prepare leaders capable of navigating rapid technological change and global disruptions with agility and foresight.
